CRAFTING PREMIUM NEW ZEALAND CIDER; TO BE ENJOYED!

FRESH NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON. WATCH THIS SPACE.

Three Wise Birds are crushing our family's local Hawke's Bay fruit and creating something uniquely kiwi. We're big on premium apples and real flavours. We believe in cider that is clean, crisp and refreshingly dry - to fit the NZ way of life. Cider for the backyard, the beach, or beyond.

'Hawkes Bay apples are recognised as some of the best around the world. So why not use these to craft a new age of cider, New Zealand's own style of cider.'

Story

'Don't worry about a thing, Cause every little thing gonna be alright'

Kiwis do summer well; countless hours spent in the surf, on the BBQ, behind the boat or on the end of the rod.

Three Wise Birds is a New Zealand style cider crafted to be the one calling 'shotgun' on your summer roadies.

It all started in the right place, ciders with a family history from the soil.  And pressed from some of natures finest apples grown in the sun soaked Hawkes Bay, then deliberately aged, to create what is crisp, clean and refreshingly dry.

The reasoning behind the cider is bloody brilliant, wise even:

apples make cider - the bay grows great apples - lets use these apples to make great cider.

Where apples meet their maker

WHERE APPLES MEET THEIR MAKER

This is a story of one 'cider master', two brothers and three wise birds.

A story that begins with Ricks, Eddie and Lou Crasborn and a dream to grow from the land, fast forward over 30 years and the brothers now grow some of the best apples and pears not only in New Zealand but the world over.

Brothers Charley and Jack weren't even a sparkle in Eddies eye when it all began but now bring youthful exuberance to the table, along with having grown up on the orchards.

Jack, armed with an overly experienced palate for alcohol is the Head Cider Maker and Managing Director. Charley, being the older of the two found his way into the title of Managing Director, spending much of his time in the areas of sales and marketing. Long term friend of the brothers and avid nomad and mucisian, George Mackie, fitted the role of Sales Manager perfectly. And what company would be complete without a UK expat that's shaken the Queens hand 'twice' as label technician, Graeme McCarter, fit the title nicely.

Ian Thompson, is a master of the art. Once winner of the worlds best cider, Ian oversees Three Wise Birds cider with passion, perfection and precision.

Three Wise Birds is a coming together of experience, youth and family.
